A reception to all the students in every
college and school of the Univercity will
be given by the Ladies' Faculty Club on
Saturday evening, January 30th, from
eight to half-past ten o'clock in the Art
Room, Library building. All tuthnt
are cordially invited
Misses Martha Bassett and Cora Bar
rett entertained the Buffalo and Custer
county students last Saturday evening.
Next Saturday the Pall, boys will de
bate the question, "Resolved; that the
college students should elect their stud

sleeping car for Salt Lake City, San
Francisco and Los Angeles leaves Omaha
and Lincoln via the Burlington Route.
It is carpeted ; upholstered in rattan;
has spring seats and backs and is pro
vided with curtains, bedding, towels,
soap, etc. An experienced excursion
conductor and a uniformed Pullman por
ter accompany it through to the Pacific
coast.
While neither as expensively finished
nor as fine to look at as a palace deeper,
it is jut as good to ride in. Second-elnss
tickets are honored and the price of a
berth, wide enough and big enough for
two, is only 5.

Garinger was elected as representative of
the class in the new athletic movement.
By an almost unanimous vote the class
decided to get out an annual next year.
