The debaters against Kansas have received the question to be discussed at the joint con test, "Resolved, that the imitative and refer endum as provided by the law of Switzer land should be introduced into our system of government." The work carried on by the Mission Study class is very interesting. This class is under the direction of the joint missionary commit tee (Y. M. and Y. W. C. A.) and meets on Saturday at 11 a. m. in room 5. After the holidays, the subject of oriental religions will be taken up. This will be instructive in many ways, even to those not interested in missionary work. A cordial invitation to join this class is extended to all. The ex pense is very slight.
