The English club have given great attention
to this number and it will excel, if possible,
the first number which appeared last May.
About 200 students are now enrolled in
the Lincoln Normal University. Many of
them are preparing for the State University.

October 11, what they call their first special
program. It consisted of a recital inter
spersed with music, conducted by Professor
Williams of the Nebraska Collega of Oratory
That Professor Williams pleased the large
ard attentive audience which greeted him,
was demonstrated by the hearty applause he
received. He is thoroughly master of the
art of exp; fission and his impersonations are
superb., The violin solo was mucb appreciated
by the audience as was also the vocal solo by
Mr. Albem. Much credit is due Mr. Craig
for making tbe first special ymgr&m a
success.
