Mr. Cameron has worked hard, and as a result there are more entries and better prizes than on any previous year. Next Saturday there is nothing else going on, and every student who has or can borrow the necessary quarter should be at the fair grounds to see our athletes do their best. The University realizes the need of general athletics, and there is no better way of showing our admiration for, and sympathy with, this side of college life than by attend ing field day and applauding every worthy effort. TnE second annual concert of the Glee Club will bo given at one of the opera houses next week. Until recently the future of the club has been very doubtful; but if tnis season is finished without a serious break there is every reason to believe that this or ganization will be a permanent one, and, in a year or two, be as essential to our exist once as are the glee clubs of eastern schools. The boys are prepared to give a first-class concert, and wo feel sure that they will have an oven larger and more enthusiastic audi ence than greet the Dramatic Club perform ance. Wo understand that the 13anjo Club will also pllay, which will make the concert doubly enjoyable and worthy of patronage. Cur University people generally moke a success of anything they undertake. The eager reception which the first number of the Nebraska Literary Magazine has received proves that this vonturo is no exception. It could hardly be otherwise than successful
