The Union society has granted the State
Medical society the use of their hall during
their annual meetings in the first part of
May.
Prof. Adams was absent from his classes
v last week. Ho was visiting the schools of
Odell with the idea of raising the standard
of their work.
Miss Becker, who has been absent from
school for the past year, is again with us
and expects to graduate with the present
Sophomore class.
Mr. Young, editor of Christian Advocate
of St. Louis, visited the University, Tues
day, April 10, and conducted Chapel ser
vicer that morning.
The outgoing and incoming officers of
the Y. M. and Y. W. C. A. wore enter
tained at the home of F. F. Tucker,
Saturday evening the 7th.
Misses Lewis and Marsland, and Messrs.
Barber, Reed and Manlev went home with
Etta Gray to spend their vacation. A very
enjoyable time was reported by all.

hear the joint debate on "Sectarian vs State
Education. '? The debate was a lively one
and, needless to say, state education had

Hon. G. M. Lambertson recently
delivered a lecture before tho Political
Economy club on Money from the Stand
point of Gold. Mr. Lambertson showed
clearly wherein Mr. Bryan was wrong.
A Girls' Glee Club has been organized.

versity is interested in the organization
and there seems io bo a chance that it will
be something more than an organization.
