THE HESPERIAN
LOCALS.
The twenty-seventh recital of the music de
partment was given in the chapel Saturday even
ing, February 25th. The junior members of the
music department gave the recital aided by a few
senior members who supported the juniors and
added dignity to the performance. The recital
was listened to by a large and cultured audience
who attested their satisfaction by hearty applause.
The music department is to be congratulated on
the splendid success of the entertainment and the
juniors are also to be congratulated for the ad
mirable way in which each one carried on his or
her part in the recital. We would like to mention
each performer individually but suffice it to say
that each did so well that not a break was made.
The junior orchestra must have special mention.
