meeting. A communication was rend
from the Junior law class, asking for
a representation In the Sonvbrcro.
This was referred to the junior annual

made was then brought upand carried.

Base ball training will begin ns soon
as the physical examinations arc com
plete. Now candidates are requested
to call at once upon Dr. Hastings to
make an appointment for the exami
nation mid to have his locker assigned
to liiin. The pitching cage will be
open every day from 12:30 to 1:40 and
3:30 to 5.
The preliminary events leading up to
the final meet on Charter day arc be
ing run off every Saturday. Decem
ber 17th the running broad jump con
testants met. Hoard came out first
with 30 feet, 3 inches; Pillsbury sec
ond, 29 feet, 2 inches; Waterman third,
23 feet, VL. inches.
Professor Taylor has a very peculiar
hor.-e. It makes no difference how
much feed he gives him, he can never
cat a bit.
