Prof. Barber lectured bofora the

Saturody evening. Tho lecturo was ill

Will McKay received a telegram last
week from the chief of tho weather
bureau at Washington offering him
a position ns observer. Tho offer wns
a tempting ono but Mr. McKay decid
ed that he would remain, hero and
graduate with his class this spring.
Tho basket lmll game played by the
Midgets Monday before the Woman's
club, was cut short on account of tho
storm. They played very well and
received enthusiastic applause from a
crowd of first team admirers. The
game ended with a score of 10 to 0 in
favor of Miss Whiting's team.
Students who are particular as to
the appearnnco of their shoes have

The recital given by. the students of
tho School of Music Wednesday even
ing was tho fifth of its kind given this
season. These recitals arc rapidly be
coming popular and are causing a
great deal of enthusiasm among lovers
of good music in Lincoln The enter
tainment was the occasion of the first
appearance of Mr. W. K. Tuttlc, who
created a very favorable impression
and won a heurty round of applause.
