At 5 o'clock on lost Monday after noon tho cadet battalion ceased to bo and tho cadet regiment, composed of the First and Second battalions, en tered upon Its existence. The eadots, from lieutenants down to privates, wero sized up, divided into battalions, and assigned to separate companies, of which there are now six Instead of four as formerly. In stead of having tho companies extend east and west on the north and south tides of tho armory, under tho now order of things it is necessary to have the companies extend north and south across tho armory floor, with tho band In tho center between tho two bat talions. Tho awkward squads havo at laBt disappeared and all tho men will now drill In tho companies. This Is a wel come relief, both to tho members of the awkward squads and tho corporals whose duty it is to. drill them. Tho first full company drill occurred last Wednesday afternoon, and tho men showed up surprisingly well. Tho following assignments wore published on Wednesday afternoon: Company A. Captain, C. H. Tho Bccond olovon of this Univer sity and Wcsloyan. plnycd a gamo on tho campiiB Friday, Novombor 12, which resulted In a victory for tho Unlverolty boys by n. scoro of 8 to 0. Nobrasku wus clearly superior to her opponents, although sho had no easy Job on her hands. Wcsloyan camo down with tho Intention of winning, nnd brought with thorn Bull, who played on tho flrBt olovon against tho Varsity team. Ho was run Into tho gamo undor an assumed name, and tho name of Nolson waB given instead of Bull for right half back. However, that availed thorn little, as WeBloyan waa unablo to hold Nebraska. Tho first touchdown was mado by a run of sixty yards by Green, an other run by Drain and Harmon car ried it over. Tukoy failed a rather difficult goal. No more scdrlng was do'no tho first half. Tho second halt waa Blmply a duplicate of tho first and Harmon mado another touch down, from which no goal was kicked. Green, Harmon, and Drain mado tho largest galnB, whllo tho tackling of Drain waa of a high order. For Wcs loyan Bull did most of tho work nnd tho rest of tho mon did not seem to get Into tho gamo. Tho freshman-sophomore foot ball game, which was played Wednesday afternoon on tho campus, was tho best exhibition of foot ball and most In torefltlng of nnv of tho previous Inter class series. The sophs, however, had good material and wero much heavier. Tnoy out played their opponents In the second half and tho latter part of tho first half. Their gains wero made by buck ing tho lino with an occasional end run or pick-up of tho ball on a fum ble. Collet made the longest run ui tho game, gaining over sixty yards. Ho got away after breaking through tho line and had a clear field before him. Ho was neatly pulled down a few yards from tho goal by. Tho freshman took the ball on tho kick-off and gradually worked It down tho Hold for a touch down. Tukoy kicked goal. It looked as If tho sophs would be easy, but they braced up and tied the freshman score tho same way before tho closo of tho half, and Gor don kicked goal. The freshman kicked off in tho sec ond half and tho sophs got their beef to work and cnrrled tho ball nearly to tho middle of the field, when Collet mado his long run. It was eaBlly pushed over for another touch down. Gordon kicked goal. Tho freshmen wero unablo to do anything for them selves during tho remaining half, but Oury helped thorn out ton y Jb for allowing an off-sldo play.
