Tho members of tho athletic Loard and managers of tho different teams were en tertained by Dr. Ward at his homo last Wednesday evening. Tho first part of tho evening was spent In having a social time, whllo later on Dr. Ward gave an interesting talk on German athletics of which ho emphasized tho most common exercise, that of climbing tho mountains and taking long walks. Ills talk was especially Interesting be cause of the fact that tho doctor was ablo to talk from actual experience. After this tho lights were turned down and Illus trated stereoptlcan views of German scenes were given.
