concert will be held some date
between the 20th and 25th.
The geological excursion to
South Bend last Saturday, was
postponed on account of bad
weather predictions, and now the
two departments don't speak as
they pass by.
The drill the Varsity Rifles
put up at the "War Song" con
cert, was the best feature of that
entertainment The skirmishers
and cavalry squad also showed up
to good advantage.

ceived, and the high school is cre
ating much interest in the pro
ject Harry Shedd is responsible
for this.
Dr. Samuol M. Dick, presideut
of the Missouri Wesley nn college,
will lecture in the chapel Sunday
afternoon at 3 o'clock. Tho sub
ject of the address is "Bible Mir
acles and Modern Science." No
admission will bo charged. Dr.
Dick comes highly recommended
as a lecturer.
Rulph Saxton and "Monte"
Belknap wore among the fifteen
young fellows who took the exam
ination for entrance to tho Anap
olis Naval academy. "Sax" came
out ahead, and left this morning
to take an "all around" examina
tion, to see if he fills the bill. He
has the best wishes for success
from a host of university friends.

Mrs. Ward; "Saracinesca" and
"Sant Ilario," by F. Marion
Crawford; and "Social Ev

Last evening Palladian hall
was the scene of a jolly social
crowd. It was composed of the
members of the Glee club who
were enjoying themselves at the
invitaton of Carl Tucker. Ices
and other delicacies were served
during the course of the evening.
The party broke up with three
cheers for the conductor of the
Glee club.
