Tho young ladies of Wollesloy
college havo ordered an oiffht-
oarod bavgo, and aro going to row,
too this yoar. It is to bo forty
fivo foot long, throo foot beam,
and mado of Spanish cedar. Tho
plan was submitted last February
and wob approved by tho faculty.
At a business mooting of tho
Cornell Gloo, Banjo, and Mando
lin clubs last wook it wob decided
that tho clubB should moke a trip
through England, Scotlaud, and
Ireland. They will sail Juno 22d
on tho Oircassia. Their first ap
pearance will bo in London July
4th. Throo concorts in all will
bo given hero, and then tho boys
will go to tho Henley regatta and
witness tho groat raco. A series
of twenty concorts will be ar
ranged in England, Scotland, and
Iroland, but tho clubs will not
make a tour of tho continent.
They expect to bo gone about six
weeks, roturning about tho Oth of
August
