then thoy started for tho door.

time, when thoy became wedged
securely in tho door by reason of
their well-filled pockoU and could
not extricate themselves until a
guard camo and unloaded Alger
non's pockets. As the large red
apples were taken out ono by one,
Algernon's face -turned as red as
tho rosy apples. Eleanor tossed
hor head and remarked that she
would not have anything to do with
an apple thiol and as she passed
grandly down tho hall of tho build
ing, her cloak pockets looked like
largo saddlo bags they were so
lull ot apples, boon at tor how
ever Algernon and Eleanor were

apple out in tho shade of a pine
