The greatest victories have always
boon won by overcoming tho great
est dilliculties. This much we
know, wo cannot win without a

to the University Museum.
It is very evident that a great,
deal of work has been done this
summer toward the enlargment of
our now crowded museum. Any
one is surely missing a great deal
by not examining or at least see
ing the valuable collections Pro
fessor Harbour assisted by his on

getting out and placing upon ex

that all the stuffed animals will
have to go up stairs in order to

lloor will be occupied by the Mor

From the Bad Lands the party
went to the Black Hills and col
lected minerals, ore and rocks for
high school and college purposes.

Doctor Ward 1ms been busy sdso
this summer in extending the zoo
logicsil brau eh of the museum.
While employed by the Michigan
Stsite Fish commission, he gathered
together si fine collection of lish.
He brought back sdso si fine collec
tion of Potokey pebbles which sire
fossil ooriil, rolled about in the
lakes until they resemble pebbles.
These will be polished by the stu
dents this year. To the medical
preparatory school several splen

among which is si gomfla, which
will probsibly afford more amuse
