Colloquium lets students experience UNL campus From staff reports For four days in June, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will become home for some of the Midwest’s brightest students. On Sunday and Monday of this week, honor students from Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota and Texas convened at UNL to partici pate in academic events designed to highlight the university. The next session is June 18 and 19. The colloquium is an opportuni ty to show off UNL to some of the regions brightest students by bring ing faculty and prospective students together, said Annie Magnusson, assistant director of honors recruit ment. Students will have choices of academic breakout sessions that will give them a chance to explore their interests and potential careers. Among the activities are program ming industrial robots, exploring digital music and experiencing an interactive communication lab.
