Security Guard
The Lancaster County Shenff’s Office, Lincoln, NE, is
accepting applications for the position of Security
Guard to staff the new Justice & Law Enforcement
Qpnter. Position is part-time, working no more than 19
hours per week. Salary: $11.48-$15.19/hour. Applica

8, 1999. All required equipment provided by the
Sheriff’s Office. Benefits include paid vacation and sick
leave (vacation and sick leave prorated based on total
hours worked).
The Lancaster* County Sheriff’s Office is a progressive
law enforcement agency comprised of 85 employees,
68 of which are commissioned officers, serving one of
the Midwest’s fastest growing communities. Security
Guards will experience a variety of work assignments,
state-of-the-art equipment and quality training.
Must have 6 months to 2 years Nebraska law enforce
ment experience, be a United States citizen, have a
high school diploma or GED, have no felony or certain
misdemeanor convictions, possess a valid driver’s li
/ cense and be 21 years of age. Successful candidates
’ will be required to pass a physical exam and drug
screening.
Successful candidates can not maintain employment
in any other law enforcement capacity.
