RIGHT: WHEN I WALKED in the door
at Christ Temple Mission church,
that stained-glass window
jumped out at me. I knew I had my
photo; I just had to wait for the
actors to take the stage. It was
one of the few times that I had a
preconceived idea and it turned
out as good as I hoped.

WHAT CAN I SAY, I got a little lucky on this one. It’s not too often when you accidentally catch somebody else’s
flash in your picture. The flash in the picture creates a sense of drama and excitement, which helped to catch the
essence of the rodeo.
