Rre and Medical Calls. Essential Job Functions: Re
ceives information concerning requests for service via
telephone. Dispatches Police & Sheriff units to calls of
service, monitors and responds to radio transmissions,
and keeps informed of location and status of law en
forcement units in the field. Serves as communications
liaison between field units and other agencies and
units. Qualifications: High school graduate or
equivalent. Desired: 2-4 years experience in the op
eration of communication and emergency service
equipment utilized in dispatching public safety and
medical emergency personnel.
