work is marked by the personality he
emits through his lens.
“The incredible thing about him is
that it doesn’t matter if he takes pictures
in the subways of New York, in a place
foreign to him like Africa or on the
plains of Nebraska,” she said. “It all
looks like Shane.”
Fuller said the photographer’s sense
of style gives personal showcase to
Aspegren’s travels.
“When you look at some of his new
photographs, you can really see the
world through his eyes,” he said.
Aspegren doesn’t offer much syn
tactical insight on his photographs, but
it isn’t because the photographer does
n’t have opinions. Aspegren said he
would rather allow interpretation of
