East Campus, University of Nebraska-Lincoln has an
Office Automation Clerk Position in the Student Career
Experience Program (SCEP) that will open effective
Jan. 4,1999. The position provides clerical and admin
istrative support to the ARS research units located on
East Campus. The position is half-time during the aca
demic year and up to full-time during the summer
months. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited
school on at least a half-time basis in a course of study
related to the program (administration, business or office
management) and maintain a good academic record.
Applicants must be a US citizen or a permanent

two Outreach Coordinators. These are grant-funded
opportunities for public service-minded individuals. In
dividuals will coordinate ‘Safe Nights' events for youth
at community service organizations throughout Lin
coln/Lancaster County. Responsible for organizing
“Safe Night” events; facilitating planning meetings; de
veloping “Safe Nights’ promotional materials; con
ducting informational and educational presentations;
writing program reports.
Desired: 1 -2 years related volunteer/job experience.
