Tennis player arrested
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
police arrested a University of Colorado
tennis player for stealing a large, vinyl

Third-ranked doubles player and
sixth-ranked singles player Kevin
Grieve was arrested for stealing the ban
ner, valued at $500, from the tennis
courts early Saturday morning, UNL
Police Sgt Mylo Bushing said.
The 22-year-old junior was in jail all
day Saturday until 6 p.m. when he could
post the $50 bond.
In addition to the theft charge,
Grieve faces disciplinary action from
CU. Head Tennis Coach Scott Davidoff
said Grieve will not be participating in
the NCAA Tournament and could face
additional penalties alter his court date.
“This will hurt the team, but it had
to be done,” Davidoff said of the disci
plinary action.
Lincoln couple arrested
Police seized methamphetamine,
cocaine and more than $1,500 cash
from a Lincoln home Sunday night
Omaha Police followed an individ
ual from Omaha to the home of Randall
and Pamela Vajgrt on the 4800 block of
J Street in Lincoln, according to a police
affidavit.
After the individual left the Vajgrt
house, Omaha Police stopped the car
where they found about a kilogram of
suspected methamphetamine and
cocaine.
Narcotics officers seized 59.5
grams of suspected methamphetamine,
109.5 grams of suspected cocaine,
$1,662 cash and drug paraphernalia
including scales, straws, pipes and mir
rors, all with drug residue.
Randall Vajgrt, 32, and Pamela
Vajgrt, 33, were arrested on two charges
each of drug possession with the intent
to deliver and one count of possession
of drug paraphernalia.
