Leader
Several Supplemental Instruction positions are open
for leaders of voluntary study groups in the following
courses for the Fall 1998 Semester: Biology 101,
Economics 211, Geography 155, Geology 101, History
100, Political Science 100, Computer Science 155 and
Physics 211. Applicants must be undergraduates who
have recently completed the above course successfully
(received an A), and are interested in assisting other
students in achieving academic success in the course.
The stipend is $904 for the semester; the time com
mitment is approximately ten hours per week. Obtain
applications at the Division of General Studies, 33 Ad
ministration Building. A SI position provides valuable
experience for majors in the department or for education
majors with solid understanding in the area. Rec
ommendations from relevant instructors are recom
