Correction
A story in Wednesday’s Daily
Nebraskan incorrectly stated that the
University of Nebraska at Omaha is
starting an architectural engineering
program. The program is being
offered on UNO’s campus through
the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s
College of Engineering and
Technology. However, no architec
tural engineering courses currently
are being offered at UNL.
Dance proceeds will benefit
injured high school student
From Staff Reports
Grab your dancin’ boots and your
hat - it’s time to show support and
strut your stuff tonight at Burr
Residence Hall’s second annual Bull
Fry Dance.
Featuring “Full Choke,” a coun
try music band, students, faculty
members and staff are encouraged to
“go nuts” at the Pla-Mor Ballroom,
6600 West O Street, 8 p.m. to 12:30
a.m.
Kelly Meyer, Burr Hall vice
president and senior diversified agri
culture major, said the dance is a
benefit for Adrian Regier, the cousin
of two Burr Hall residents.
Regier, a Wheatland High School
student, became comatose after a
football injury in September.
Meyer said tickets are $5 at the
door, and all ages are welcome. No

alcohol will be served.
“Yes, we will probably lack the
audience that usually goes out on a
Thursday night,” Meyer said.
“However, we don’t want to be asso
ciated with alcohol during this
event.”
Adam Walker, host of KZKX
FM (96.9) Club Kix, will be broad
casting live.
“We are rallying as much support
for Adrian and the Bull Fry on
Saturday,” he said.
Meyer said people will be able to
buy T-shirts ($10) and tickets for
Saturday’s Bull Fry ($5) at the dance.
All ticket and T-shirt sales, as
well as donations, will go to Adrian
Regier and his family to help defray
medical costs.
