RAHSAAN PATTON MOV
On his self-titled debut album, Rahsaan
delivers a melange of melodies reminiscent
of great works like Stevie Wonder, Donny
Hathaway, Sly Stone, and contemporaries
such as Tevin Campbell. Still, the music -
characterized by smooth vocals,
meaningful lyrics and soulful delivery.
SON VOU ^
Son Volt returns with Straightaways, the
band's muchhawaited second album. With
Jay Farrar's extraordinary new songs
continuing to draw from the same
lonesome weiispring of torn-ond-froyed
rustic Americana that he's been tapping
since his days in Uncle Tupelo.
