“I’ve been a big fan of hers for a
long time,” he said. “I first saw her at
Cafe Le Shakes when I was still in high
school. Besides playing with REM, this
is my biggest dream ever. I can’t think
of a better songwriter.”
He added that he thought the move
was a positive thing for Boner.
“The music scene in Lincoln is in
shambles. A lot of the bands that have
been mainstays are dissolving,” he
said. “The way this city is isn’t good
for Katie. Every band that broke out
of Lincoln had to leave to do it.”
