The 1996-97 Emerging Leader Class recruitment and
publicity campaign is under way!
The Emerging Leader Class is sponsored by UNL’s Stu
dent Involvement and provides, among other advantages,
essential personal and professional leadership skills to
ambitious students. The Emerging Leader Class, offered
for two credit hours in three sections during the Spring
semester, is an interactive endeavor, instructors, teach
ing assistants, and student leaders join together to en
hance new students’leadership qualities, and encourage
a positive and successful university experience. More
over, the ELC ptovfcfesan energetic atmosphere for group
dynamics and learning, as wok as excellent co-curricular
opportunities for student leaders, including involvement
activities on campus, community service projects, and
interviews with community leaders. The Emerging Leader
Class is academically accredited by the Agricultural Lead
ership & Communication, and Educational Psychology
Departments, and Student Involvement is proud to offer
the ELC for the ninth year this Spring.
