Based on a list of eight questions, the Daily Nebraskan tested the loyalty, service, v. highlights and humor of the 20 homecoming candidates at the University qf.Nebraska Lincoln. < J:' Of those, all want to keep Herbie. But they want the old Herbie, not the current one because, as candidate James Yen says, The new Herbie scares me.” They stressed tradition, communication, diversity, recruting, fighting apathy, unity, ethics and other issues to be the top concern at UNL. "All you need to do is pick up a business magazine and see that the United States is moving into an information and technology age," he said, and recommended die university respond to the changing age. If every student took pride in die university and would take an active role in trying to better the univesity there would not be a better institution to attend (than UNL). 5. My favorite sculpture is the woman in the box because she represents the hardship and challenges that women face on a day-to-day basis. Continuity in the way student code of conduct issues are handled... many students are frustrated because it appears that certain "groups" are treated differently. 2. Two national championships. Granted, my involvement came from about the thirtieth row and not on the field. As for the60-ft Spam bust, I would mount It to the 60-ft yellow C-SPAN bus and let it tour the nation.
