Finally the old man found another bird with a glide in its stride. The woodpeckers knock down and criti cize everything, the vultures wallow in gossip and the chickens have no goals or ambitions — they just walk in circles. But the eagles soar, she said. “How many people are there in this world who do not know that they are eagles?” she asked. “The eagles do the right thing, speak out against wrong, run against the grain. “Each of us have an eagle inside of us.
