Kim Hobson, a student organiza tion consultant with the Student In volvement office, said the program, called “This ‘n That,” will use stu dents’ expertise in certain areas to benefit fellow students. “Itfs a nice approach for students to be learning from their peers,” Hobson said. “It gives the students presenting a chance to speak publicly and the students listening a chance to benefit their own organizations.” Each month, different student or ganizations in the program will present workshops to other organiza tions. The Advertising Club, for ex ample, presented the program’s first workshop on promotion and public ity. Hobson said the Student Involve ment office was testing the program this year to determine whether stu dents would use it. The free work shops are open to any organization or individual interested. The next workshop will be Oct. 25 at 4:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union and East Campus Union.
