MINNEAPOLIS (AP)—Radio
talk-show host Barbara Carlson has
embarrassed her ex-husband, Min
nesota Gov. Arne Carlson, before
by talking about their failed mar
riage on the air.
Now she’s planning a tell-all
book, and the governor is warning
that he won’t tolerate any
“defamatory material.”
The book, “This Broad’s Life,”
is scheduled for release next sum
mer. She chronicles her years of
alcohol abuse and her dozen years
of marriage to Carlson.
“Part of this book deals with my
life and drinking, and the governor
is part of that,” Ms, Carlson said.
“Tiiere are some things that are
very painful in the book.”
Carlson said in a letter to his ex:
“I will not tolerate any invasion of
my privacy nor condone any
defamatory material or exaggera
tions that may be contained in the
book.”
