Police investigate
UNL student’s death

Police yesterday investigated the
death of 18-year-old Martina Mc
Menamin who was found dead in her
apartment in the south part ofLincoln.
McMenamin had just completed
her freshman year, majoring in gen
eral studies at the University of Ne
braska-Lincoln.
She was a 1994 graduate of Daniel
Gross High School in Omaha, Ne
braska.
McMenamin’s body was found at
the Amberwood Apartments, located
near 48th Street and state Highway 2,
at about 10:20 p.m. CDT on Tuesday.
According to police radio calls, the
body was discovered by Mc
Menamin’s roommate, who said the
apartment appeared to have been ran
sacked.
