since injuring shoulder
From Staff Report* _
Nebraska practiced for two hours
Wednesday at Memorial Stadium in
preparation for Saturday’s showdown
with Colorado.
No. 2 I-back Damon Benning
missed practice with a sore ankle but

Quarterback Matt Turman, who
suffered a bruised shoulder last Sat
urday against Missouri, threw for the
first time since the injury.
“Matt Turman threw the ball a
little bit today,” Coach Tom Osborne
said. “He didn’t throw very deep, and
he didn’t throw very hard, but it looks
like he might at least be available to
play Saturday.”
