    Bowl poll
Continued from Page 7
ida on Nov. 27. If Florida State falls
below the Huskers, Nebraska—with
a win over Oklahoma—would likely
play Notre Datnc in the Orange Bowl
for the national championship.
Husker players say they ask only
for the chance to play for the title.
“1 don’t care who we play,” defen
sive tackle Kevin Ramaekers said.
“just as long as we get a shot at the
national championship if we go unde
feated.”
Alberts said going undefeated was
the second of three Nebraska goals,
the first of which \vas already accom
plished when the Huskers clinched
the Big Eight title Saturday. Alberts
said the third goal was to win the
national championship.
Frazier said the voters would be
unfair to Nebraska if they gave Flor
ida State another chance at the title.

But, he said, the Huskers won’t ques
tion the polls until the end of the
regular season.
“If they don’t give us a chance,”
Frazier said, “we’ll know there’s
something going on with the voters.
It’s too late in the season for a team to
lose and drop only one or two posi
tions.
“In my opinion, (Florida Slate)
should drop; but I can’t control these
