Frazier’s ankle still on the mend

Nebraska football coach Tom
Osborne said Wednesday that quar
terback Tommie Frazier was continu
ing to show signs of improvement
from the ankle sprain he suffered
against North Texas.
“Frazier moved about the best he
has on a Wednesday since he got
hurt,” Osborne said. “He’s still not
100 percent, but he appeared to be a

um because of the wet conditions.
“I think we had a good practice,”
Osborne said. “We did back off a little
bit. Last night I was a little worried
because we banged around a lot on
Monday and Tuesday. So we did ease
off and hopefully they’ll be in a little
better shape by Saturday.”

Illustrated.
Alberts, a 6-foot-4-inch, 240-pound
senior from Cedar Falls, Iowa, made
a career-high 12 tackles — 10 unas
sisted—and had two sacks for 3 yards
lost in the Huskers’ 14-13 win Satur
day over UCLA.

tive in the fourth quarter—was more
potent than ever. Their defense left
something to be desired.
So did Nebraska’s. And so does
Nebraska’s schedule.
After their matchup with Miami,
the Buffaloes will have two fourth
quarter tests — and probably losses.
That’s two more tests than Nebras
ka will have.
But does that mean the Buffaloes
will have the advantage?

The Student Insurance program is open to both graduate and under graduate
students It was designed to work together with the Health Center to help off set
the high cost of medical care.
There are some changes this year in the procedure for enrollment that will be
affecting International Students. Immigration laws state that non-resident students
must be financially responsible to reside in this country. The UNL policy requires
mandatory insurance for International Students. These students are required to
show proof of private coverage or be billed automatically on their tuition state
ments for Student Insurance.
The coverage dales for International Students is 8/12/93 thru 8/11/94.
The premium of S21I.Q0 per semester will he on vour tuition statement.
Enrollment is open for Domestic students and ALL dependents until 9/23/93. If
you have not enrolled in the Student Insurance program by then, you must wait
until Spring Semester begins 1/9/94.
