As the 1993 graduates from the University or Nebraska-Lincoln
enter that vast expanse seasonably termed “The Real World,”
some familiar voices from the old alma mater have some parting
words of advice to pass on.
From the University’s chancellor to the bartenders on “O” Street, the
Daily Nebraskan solicited responses to the question: “What advice would
you give to this spring's graduates?”
Not surprisingly, the responses were as varied as the poll’s partici
pants, and reflect the diversity of ideas at UNL. Take to heart what you
like, and the Daily Nebraskan hopes these pearls of wisdom add to your
good luck as you graduate.
Patrice Berger
Director of the honors program and
chairman of the history department

for excellence.”
