The ASUN GonttNuflon states that In order to be eligible tor election or appointment id the student government you must
be enrolled at a full-time student (Graduate College-9 hours). The proposed amendment would lower the requirement
tor students In the Graduate College to efx hours In a degree objective program.
ARTICLE V. BRANCHES

I. Elected Mambers. To be eligible tor election to the Senate, a candidate must:
a. Be a regularly enrobed member of the college he proposes to represent and spree in writing
to resign It he should terminate his/her enrollment In that college during the term of office tor
which he eeeks election.
b. Be regularly enrolled as a full-time student, either as an undergraduate or as a graduate student.
c. The senator from the Division of Continuing Studies must be enrolled with at least three
credit hours.
d. The senator from the Graduate College must be enrolled with at least three credit hours.
e. Meet university regulations tor participation In extracurricular activities.

permitted to vote by absentee ballot. Students who wish to vote by absentee ballot must complets ‘Form L' (available from
the ASUN Director of Development), between the hours of 9.90 to 5:00 and have their signature notarized and must be
cast on or before 4:00 pm.. Tuesday, March 9,1993
