The People Under the Stairs New releases hit video stores . ‘The Addams Family’ and ‘Kuffs’ are this week’s top releases By Gerry Beltz Staff Reporter “The AddamsFamily”and“Kuffs” will be making their way today from the big screen to video stores. “The Addams Family” stars Raul Julia, Anjclica Houston and Christo pher Lloyd as a “kooky,” “spooky” family, which was adapted from television’s own “Addams Family.1* This film is definitely worth catch ing, as it is a verifiable hoot from beginning to end. Of special note arc the hilarious performances from Christina Rucci as thp daughter, Wednesday, as well as the outrageous antics of the disem bodied hand, Thing. Also released is “Kuffs,” starring Christian Slater and Bruce Boxlcilncr. In the film, Slater’s star vehicle allows him to be put in the situation of avenging his policeman brother’s death. Slater docs this by simply step ping into his brother’s shoes. “Kuffs” is not the best S later movie ever assembled, even for the diehard Slater fans. But the film does have a moment or two worth seeing. “Kuffs” probably could have been a better film if the producers hadn’t solely relied on Slater’s trademark cockiness to save the film’s gaping holes. iimrfljjrnn jocrauc ‘Joe Public* ■Al Green’"’ Love Is Reality • j ‘Love Is Reality* ALYSOR WUIAIB ‘Alyson Williams’ gmrvBi vAflRRrrai, *■ •Next ExT CYPRESS MR! •Cypress HIM* MCE t SMOOTH ‘Ain't A Damn Thing Changed" f SUPER CAT I DON DADA WTO CAT “Don Dada’ IAT1U/MAIISAUS ‘Baroque Duet* Prices effective thrnunh A.VUQ9 CALLOWAY “Let’s Get Smooth" SISTER SOUUAM “360 Oeflrees Of Power" KATHY SLEDGE “Heart" _ C 1902 Sony Muoc Enionmnmoni Inc —
