    Star Trek’s Lt. Worf to ‘warn’ to convention Newvid __
Two-day Omaha ‘Trekfest’
features actor’s appearance,
collectibles from TV series

A “Trekfcsl” Star Trek convention and fes
tival featuring Michael Dorn will be Saturday
and Sunday at the Holiday Inn Convention
Center in Omaha.
Dorn plays Lt. Worl, the only Klingon offi
cer aboard the legendary Starship Enterprise,
on the Fox network’s “Star Trek: The Next
Generation.”
He was also featured in “Star Trek VI: The
Undiscovered Country,” as the grandfather of
his character on the new series. Dorn is the only
“Next Generation” cast member to bridge the
gap between the two shows.
Dorn will be available at 3:30 p.m. on Sat
urday and 2 p.m. on Sunday to answer ques
tions about his role in the new Star Trek TV
series.
Also, dealers from around the United Slates
will offer rare Trek collectibles for sale and
display.
Trivia and costume contests, door prizes
and giveaways will start at noon each day.
Presentations of the best moments from
“Star Trek,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation”
and Star Trek bloopers also will begin at noon
each day.
Cost for the convention is S15 per person per
day. Children ages 8 and under arc free. Tickets
will be available at the door.

dergarten Cop”) who is as ruthless as Larry.
She stonewalls him. He falls in love.
