The Daily Nebraskan is accepting applications for the
1992 summer editor in chief. Applicants must have one
vear of newspaper experience, preferably at the Daily
Nebraskan, ana be a student at the University of Ne
braska currently, this summer or fall, 1992.
The editor inchief formulates
editorial policy, determines
guidelines for tne daily opera
tion of the newsroom, hires the
senior editorial staff, helps de
termine the content of the edito
rial page, prepares the editorial
salary budget and reports to the
Publications Board.
The editor earns $2,000 from
mid-April to mid-August and
is responsible for at least 11 I
editions.
