So far this season, Travis has finished just ahead of Lucas. “Denise is running very well so far this season,” Rainboll said. “She and Kathy should battle it out all year.” Looking beyond these big colle giate meets, Travis has another goal. “My dream is to go to the Olym pics some day,” she said. “I’m satis fied with where I’m at right now, but I’ll always have the desire to get better. “It will come with practice,” Travis said. When the outdoor season begins, Travis plans to run the 100, 200 and 400-relay.
