“Mainly it’s just to relax and take
time away from basketball,” he said.
“At the end of the basketball season I
was kind of burned out. This makes
me miss it and makes my desire to
play (basketball) greater.
“I still play basketball almost every
night and I plan to stay in basketball
shape for some pro camps in June and
July, but this is a lot of fun.”
But like Sanders, Reid couldn’t
say just what his future with the base
ball team is.
“I’m not sure to what extent I’d
pitch if I make the team,” he said.
“They’ve got a good team established
and I don’t want to mess it up.”

School in Memphis, Tenn., claimed
that Day, his stepson, was being rail
roaded.
