“I didn’t think I would go far enough
to even need them.”
Lepard added that he was looking
forward to the competition in Wash
ington, the winner of which will re
ceive a $2,500 scholarship.

Festival, including senior theater major
Jim Hanna, whose original play “Pelvic
Variations” was performed at the
convention.
And the original play,“ A Crowded
House,” by UNL student Heather
Flock, currently is being considered
for national play writing awards.
Layne Ehlers, festival coordina
tor, said the purpose of the festival
was to promote high standards of
theater on the college level.
The festival gives students a chance
to see the work of others and have
their own work critiqued, Ehlers said.

festival, Ehlers said.
