Wind blows Huskers inside
From Staff Reports
The Nebraska football team worked
out in full pads Wednesday in Cook
Pavilion.
Coach Tom Osborne said the team
moved inside to avoid high wind that
would have made passing difficult.
“It wasn’t so much that it was
cold,” he said, “it was just the wind.”
Practice in preparation for Satur
day’s game has been “reasonably
good,” Osborne said, while the team’s
injury situation remains fair.
Tight end William Washington,
hampered by a sprained ankle, again
suited up but did very little, Osborne
said. Mike Vcdral will be the No. 3
tight end behind Daryl Leise and
Johnny Mitchell against Oklahoma
