Applicants must have one year of newspaper experience, preferably at the Daily Nebraskan and be a student at the University of Ne braska-Lincoln. The editor in chief formu lates editorial policy, deter mines guidelines for the daily operation of the newsroom, hires the senior editorial staff, helps determine the content of the editorial page, prepares the editorial salary budget and re ports to the Publications Board. The editor earns $950/ j month from August 1 through the end of second semester ($475 in December).
