During the tour, “Remote Con trol” tried to accommodate every school that wanted to have the show, Protter said. “When booking the show in Lin coln we thought we could do it, but sometimes in trying to accommodate everyone you make a mistake.” Protter said the stars and everyone travelling with the show were disappointed, she said. . = “No one was happy about it.” Since most of our talent is from New York they were all looking for ward to performing right smack in the middle of the country.” Protter said people in Lincoln gave a good try at promoting “Re mote Control.” KFRX did an amazing job of promoting the show.” “We want everyone to know we’re really disappointed,” she said. “We tried to make it work but there just wasn’t enough time.” Fun-filled show comes to Lincoln By Emily Rosenbaum Senior Reporter __ An American stage production ' that has been touring worldwide since 1982, including recent per formances in the Soviet Union, is making a stop in Lincoln this week. “Toymaker’s Dream,” which features more than $250,000 in lights, sound and computerized fireworks, will be performed to night and Wednesday at Nebraska Wesleyan University. The show is a blend of dance, pantomime, acrobatics and digi tally mastered music highlighting an allegory of a toy maker and his son. The 30 cast and crew members just have returned to the United States from their second tour of die Soviet Union. More than 75,OCX) Soviet citi zens attended the performances in Moscow, Minsk, Kiev and Odessa. Two of the performers are from Nebraska: Jeff Morrow of Lincoln and Michelle Delong of Beaver Crossing. The show will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. in O’Donnell Audito rium on the Wesleyan campus. Tickets are available at Maranatha Christian Supply, 1265 S.
