Mays used her fastball to baffle the media ali stars, whose roster included Daily Nebraskan senior sports reporter Damn Fowler. Fowler struck out in his only two appearances against Mays. Even though the Huskcrs are a notch above the Bulldogs, having a match under their belt helped the Drake players even the odds. ‘‘It was a match we could have lost if we didn’t play good,” Calvin said.
