Professional storytellers will pos
sess the Sheldon Sculpture Garden
Saturday night at V p.m. with stories
ot haunted visits from ghosts and
goblins.
I he ghosts by candlelight per

White, president of Lincolnfcst, Inc.
For those not so brave, the story
tellers will entertain children and
adults beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday
and Sunday in the College of Busi
ness Administration, near 12th and R
streets.
Storyteller Jon Spelman, best
known for his emmy-award winning
show, “Three Stones Tall”, will
present a variety from his diverse
repertoire of story material.
Spelman will introduce the festi
val audience to his laidback, infonnal
style. Street-clothes, not costumes,
arc his usual performing attire.
Omaha talent. Sandy Duncan, will
don her chicken outfit during the af
ternoon performances in an attempt
to explain the “nature of chicken
dom.” But Duncan said she probably
will wear black for her talcs of fright
in the garden Saturday night.
Duncan, a former director of the
Emm\ Gifford Theater in Omaha,
said since leaving the theater, her
repertoire has rapidly grown. Now,
the emphasis is on performing not
management, although both jobs arc ■
show business related, she said. fi
