Computer users and the Data Processing Division.
Record and report requests and research concerns relat
ing to Computer application systems. Help identify and
fix terminal and printer related problems through the use
of online tools, hardware test procedures ana hardware
maintenance vendors in a mixed IBM SNA/Asynchro
nous environment. Support the installation of new net
work equipment. Must have the ability to work patiently
and effectively on the phone and in person with people of
varying level of knowledge of computers. Significant
knowledge of large system Data Processing concepts
and facilities. Hands-on knowledge of I8M SNA Data
Communications facilities, both hardware and software.
Experience trouble shooting IBM 3270 equipment In an
SNA/ClCS environment. Knowledge of Netview, NCCF,
NPDA, and DEC VAX/VMS terminal operation helpful.
Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy boxes. Must
complete a Supplemental Questionnaire in addition to
