Diacuu your course selection with your adviser to be sure it fits into your degree program. For example. Art* * Sciences
students have a limit of 30 hour* of Summer Reeding Coune and/or cocroapondonco hours that will apply toward a degree.
Check with your college s requirement* before registering for s Summer Reading Coune. If you are attending Teachers
College, it is mandatory that you have written authorization to register for a Simmer Reading Course.
Hmg: Only two reading courses can be taken in one summer. Exceptions will require the written approval of your adviser
and/or the dean of your college.
Residence requirement
(..ourtet with an x suffix do not qualify a* resident credit. SRC hotas will not count toward the requirement that *at least 30 of
the Last 36 hours of credit needed for the degree must be registered for and completed in residence.*
Grading Procedures
Required wodt mu# be completed by the deadline established by your instructor. Final fall meetings are scheduled September
11-15, 1989. The nature of this contact will vary depending on the course. Your instructor will advise you of these
requirements.
Pass/No Pass: Regular Pass/No Pass rules of your college will apply. Some courses have specific Pass/No Pass restrictions;
please check the course listings. Final date to change to or from Pasa/No Past is July 21, 1989. Grades will be recorded by
instructors on October 13,1989.
Important: Final date to drop and have a course removed from your record is A' at 25,1989. If work is not completed and no
drop is processed by the August 25th deadline, s grade of "P will be recorded. Ihere will be no grades of *W* or *1" given for
SRC V classes. If you are to receive credit for a 1989 Summer Reading Course, work must be completed and graded by
October 13,1989. There will be no option to extend this deadline or reinstate your enrollment after this deadline.
