Audun s the George Holmes Distinguished Professor of Music and a oianodepartmem chair at the University of Nebraska-Lmcoln. Tm in Norway. Audun graduated from Northwestern University. I He specializes in music from the classical period and was the first solo artist to receive the Nebraska Governor s Arts Award. Kari graduated from the Eastman School of Music, and is the principal cellist with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. P The two are the only Nebraskan musicians accepted for the Mid America Arts Alliance touring program. Tonight’s performance will include pieces by Shostakovich and Chopin. The free lecture is open to the public. ‘Out of Bounds’ exhibit to show “Out of Bounds” opens the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Art spring season Friday. .. . Artists challenge the traditional bounds of the frame, according to Karen Kune, director of the Department of Art Gallery.
